Tamara Fore serves as the Executive Director of Immigrant Hope – Sandhills.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC She joined the organization in December, 2021 after spending 25 years in the finance/compliance departments of a local retirement community.  She has traveled to Haiti and Honduras several times on mission trips to serve God in those communities. She brings a wealth of finance, compliance, leadership and organizational skills as well as a servant’s heart for the immigrant population. She has been married for 46 years, has 2 children and 4 grandchildren. She loves spending time with family, walking, anyplace that has water and exploring new places. She is received her Department of Justice (DOJ) partial accredited representative in December of 2022.

Born and raised in Colombia, South America. Cathy moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2001, where
her father was born and raised. She was blessed by having the opportunity to move to
Aberdeen, NC since 2016 where she lives with her husband Matt and fur baby Zoey.
Cathy loves a challenge and has completed 9 marathons. She has not established any world
records, but the friendships she has been able to cultivate, and the determination not to give
up on challenges in life, have been her biggest accomplishments.
She completed her Masters in Cybersecurity in 2019 and works fulltime for the government.
She is passionate about the Immigrant Hope ministry because it allows her to provide
immigrants in our community guidance which in turn opens the opportunity to share the good
news of Jesus.
Cathy achieved her certification as Partial accredited representative in April 2024.
